U13C, U15C Provincial Championships coming to Blackfalds

Fifteen of 20 teams have been confirmed for the 2024 Softball Alberta provincial championships - U13C and U15C - being held in Blackfalds, July 12-14.

The Alberta Softball Umpires Association (ASUA) is proud to host both divisions of provincial championships, with the event serving as a fundraiser for 2025 Blue Convention in Calgary. 

In the U13C division, the following teams have qualified:

• Pool A: Lethbridge Heat, Calgary West Hills - Grant, Rimbey Rays, Sedgewick Steelers, and Kitscoty Royals
• Pool B: Blackfalds Pirates, Grande Prairie Pirates.

Zone playdowns are still underway to identify representatives from Zone 2, Zone 3 and Zone 5.

In the U15C division, the following teams have qualified:

• Pool A: Lethbridge Heat, Calgary West Valley, Sedgewick Steelers, Consort Cubs, St. Paul Storm
• Pool B: Calgary SBR Rockies, Sylvan Lake Storm, Grande Prairie Pirates.

Zone playdowns are still underway to identify representatives from Zone 2 and Zone 5.

There will be a number of fundraising activities on location during the provincial championships weekend, including a silent auction.
